- Provide customer service to residents, members, guests, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential community areas, clubhouse facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as needed.
- Carry assigned firearm and other equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policy, applicable laws, and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least two years of law enforcement, corrections, criminl justice degree and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Possess access control and badge experience preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
