Job Summary

This job is responsible for leading the Benefits team to design and administer attractive employee benefit programs. It ensures legal compliance and market alignment while enhancing the overall employee experience. The role also involves strategic vendor management and team development.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing claims data, discerning trends, and delivering actionable insights to influence benefits strategy
• Crafting recommendations for benefit plan enhancements, ensuring alignment with market practices and employee needs
• Overseeing the administration of employee benefit programs, including compliance with ERISA and other regulations
• Keeping abreast of legislative changes to proactively adapt benefit plans and maintain legal compliance
• Liaising with external partners such as consultants, brokers, and legal advisors to optimize benefit offerings
• Benchmarking company benefits against industry standards to ensure competitiveness and attract talent
• Developing educational materials and conducting presentations to improve employee engagement with benefit programs
• Leading and mentoring a benefits team, establishing performance metrics, and driving operational effectiveness
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
