We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Planning Manager to join our Planning & Performance team.

 

This is a highly visible enterprise role responsible for leading and embedding the Integrated Business Planning across Anglicare. You'll bring together long-term strategy, business planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting into a connected planning framework that helps leaders make better decisions and deliver stronger outcomes.

 

As the organisation continues to grow and evolve, you'll play a key role in ensuring our strategic priorities translate into actionable plans, measurable outcomes and sustainable performance improvement.

 

Your Opportunity

 

Reporting to the General Manager, Planning & Performance, you will lead Anglicare's organisation-wide business planning, forecasting and performance reporting processes across all business units and entities. You'll work closely with Executive leaders, General Managers and Finance teams to ensure strategic priorities are translated into robust plans, realistic forecasts and measurable performance outcomes.

 

This role sits at the heart of strategic decision-making, helping leaders understand where the organisation is heading, how success will be measured and what actions are required to achieve long-term goals.

 

With integrity and resilience, you will:

 

• Lead Anglicare's Integrated Business Planning process, connecting long-range strategy, annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts and performance outcomes
• Partner with executives and senior leaders to provide commercial advice and strategic financial insights
• Deliver consolidated group budgets, forecasts and three-way financial models that support strategic and operational decision-making
• Develop and enhance enterprise performance reporting, KPI frameworks and executive dashboards
• Partner with business leaders to translate strategic priorities into practical business and financial plans
• Provide strategic insight into organisational performance, identifying risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
• Support key strategic initiatives and business cases that contribute to Anglicare's long-term growth and sustainability
• Drive continuous improvement across planning, reporting, finance systems and data management processes

 

What you'll bring

 

You are a commercially astute planning leader who enjoys connecting strategy with execution. You can see the bigger picture while also understanding the financial and operational drivers behind organisational performance.

 

You are equally comfortable facilitating planning discussions with senior leaders, developing board-quality business plans and translating complex analysis into clear recommendations.

 

What’s required:

 

• CA qualification required
• 10+ years' progressive finance experience, including significant experience in FP&A, business planning or strategic planning leadership roles
• Experience leading organisation-wide planning, forecasting and performance management processes.
• Strong experience developing and presenting board-quality business plans and executive reporting.
• Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing key business decisions.
• Advanced financial modelling, reporting and analytical capability.

 

What’s preferred:

 

• Experience in group, corporate or enterprise planning environments
• Exposure to large, complex or multi-business organisations
• Experience within capital-intensive industries such as property, infrastructure, healthcare, aged care or related sectors
• Strong knowledge of planning and reporting tools including Workday Adaptive, Hyperion, TM1, Power BI or similar platforms
• Proven ability to connect strategic planning, business planning and financial outcomes into a single enterprise view
