- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and utility customers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, administrative areas, equipment locations, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders according to established protocols.
- Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
- Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
