We are looking for two Scientists to join our Manufacturing Sciences team in Norway. These roles combine hands-on scientific work with process development, technology transfer, validation, and continuous improvement in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
How will you make an impact?
As a Scientist, you will help develop, scale, validate, transfer, and improve manufacturing processes for both new and established products.
Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, R&D, and other functions, you will build process understanding, solve technical challenges, and help translate scientific knowledge into robust and efficient manufacturing processes.
You may also lead technical activities or workstreams as needed.
What will you do?
- Contribute to process development, scale-up, technology transfer, troubleshooting, validation, and engineering activities
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes with a focus on quality, reproducibility, efficiency and process control
- Evaluate new technologies, automation, and process solutions
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and implement practical solutions
- Plan and document technology transfers and support implementation into manufacturing
- Prepare technical reports, protocols, validation documentation, and other technical records
- Coordinate cross-functional activities and provide technical guidance when needed
- Ensure work complies with applicable safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements
What will you need?
- Master’s degree in Process Chemistry, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific field and two years of relevant experience
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant laboratory or process experience
- Relevant experience in process development, laboratory, manufacturing, or a similar technical environment
- Experience with scale-up, engineering, and validation activities
- Strong scientific, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently plan, execute, evaluate, and document technical work
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- A proactive, continuous-improvement mindset and ability to work with changing priorities
- Fluent English and proficiency in a Scandinavian language, with the ability to participate effectively in meetings held in Norwegian
Experience leading technical projects or workstreams is considered an advantage.
The role involves work in both laboratory and manufacturing environments, including work with chemicals and process equipment. Some flexibility in working hours may occasionally be required.
