Project Role Description : Develops applications and systems that utilize AI tools, Cloud AI services, with proper cloud or on-prem application pipeline with production ready quality. Be able to apply GenAI models as part of the solution. Could also include but not limited to deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, image processing.

Summary:
As an AI / Machine Learning Engineer, a typical day involves designing and building advanced applications and systems that leverage artificial intelligence technologies. This role requires integrating cloud-based AI services or on-premises application pipelines to deliver solutions that meet production standards. The engineer applies generative artificial intelligence models and explores various domains such as deep learning, neural networks, conversational agents, and image analysis to create innovative and efficient systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous refinement of AI-driven solutions are key aspects of the daily workflow.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of AI and machine learning solutions to meet project requirements.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Ensure the quality and scalability of AI applications through rigorous testing and optimization.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Machine Learning (ML).
- Experience with designing and deploying AI models in cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of generative artificial intelligence techniques and their practical applications.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and neural network architectures.
- Ability to develop and optimize chatbots and image processing algorithms.
- Competence in building production-ready AI pipelines ensuring robustness and scalability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Machine Learning (ML).
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
