Description
[What the role is]
Bring your creativity and camera confidence to a cause that gives back. At MUIS, you will shape how people discover and connect with Wakaf Masyarakat Singapura (WMS), helping more people understand cash wakaf and its role in sustaining Mosques, Education and Community (MEC).You will own public education delivery, from campaign planning and hands-on content production to being a recognisable, relatable face of WMS on camera. Turn everyday questions and community stories into content that makes wakaf easy to understand, beautiful to give and natural to repeat.
This role offers scope to pitch fresh ideas, build recurring content series and take pride in work that strengthens trust and inspires lasting participation in WMS.
[What you will be working on]
1. Own the public education plan
Translate WMS priorities into audience-focused campaigns and a rolling content calendar across digital channels and community touchpoints. Set clear messages, deliverables, budgets, success measures and timelines, with particular attention to younger audiences. Evaluate timely delivery and progress against agreed campaign objectives.
2. Create content from idea to publication
Research, script, storyboard, film and edit short videos, Reels, carousels and stories; adapt content for web, email and outreach materials. Develop repeatable formats such as cash wakaf explainers, myth-busting and community interviews, with clear calls to action. Evaluate accuracy, quality, publishing consistency and audience retention.
3. Be an engaging on-camera face of WMS
Regularly present explainers, host interviews and capture event stories with warmth and confidence. Make unfamiliar ideas accessible through natural conversations and appropriate humour. Represent MUIS professionally within approved messages. Evaluate clarity, presentation quality and audience feedback.
4. Build participation through people and partnerships
Work with MUIS communications colleagues, mosques, youth groups, creators and community partners on content and activations. Brief contributors, coordinate shoots and respond to audience questions, escalating sensitive matters. Evaluate partner delivery, response quality and participation generated.
5. Manage digital channels and demonstrate ROI
Manage WMS web, social, email and donation-journey performance across paid and organic campaigns. Set KPIs and baselines; coordinate campaign tagging, conversion tracking and dashboards with communications and platform teams. Analyse engagement, conversion rates, donor acquisition costs and repeat giving.
Calculate campaign, activation and channel ROI using attributable giving and full costs, stating attribution assumptions and limits. Report public education outcomes alongside financial returns. Use A/B tests and monthly reviews to recommend content, audience, channel and budget changes. Assess reporting accuracy, cost efficiency and target achievement.
6. Take ownership and protect public trust
Manage assignments, vendors and approved spend through to completion. Follow procurement and editorial approvals; verify claims with relevant colleagues and secure permissions for people, images and music. Maintain organised assets and records. Evaluate reliability, budget control, compliance and responsiveness to feedback.
Performance targets will be agreed with the reporting officer, reflecting campaign priorities, available resources and the role’s contribution to shared outcomes.
