As a member of the regional product team, you will work within a dynamic environment that provides a platform for you to have an immediate and long-term impact on the future success of JCI.

What you will do:

• Lead China portfolio management for AC Centrifugal, Modular and Screw Chiller/HP products to support business growth and lifecycle performance against target revenue, profitability, ROI and market share.

• Drive regional product portfolio positioning for AC Centrifugal, Modular and Screw Chiller/HP products, integrating technical and commercial perspectives with the voice of the customer (VOC) and regional market needs.

• Lead multi-year product portfolio strategy development, aligning senior leadership and regional stakeholders on growth opportunities, investment priorities and portfolio trade-offs. Balance China market needs with global product platforms and long-term business objectives.

• Understand application requirements in key vertical markets for chillers and related HVAC/R solutions. Translate customer needs for energy efficiency, decarbonization and system integration into clear chiller/HP portfolio priorities.

• Provide BOD tools, sales training and product communications across JCI’s business and sales channels, covering product selection, application, value propositions and competitive differentiation.

• Contribute to pricing analysis by bringing insights into product positioning, promotion, customer value and competitive differentiation.

• Drive alignment on regional portfolio priorities and commercial readiness across product management, R&D, sales, operations and service for new product introductions and go-to-market plans. Coordinate regional launch readiness and post-launch business reviews.

• Monitor major competitors’ activities, regulatory developments and emerging market trends, including refrigerant transitions and energy-efficiency requirements, to identify and prioritize new product requirements for differentiated offerings.

• Actively participate in industry initiatives to strengthen JCI’s reputation and influence in the chiller/HP industry.

• Build and lead the product portfolio management team through clear objectives, coaching and talent development. Strengthen strategic thinking, market insight and commercial capabilities, establish effective ways of working, and foster accountability and cross-functional collaboration.

WORKING LOCATION: Shanghai, China

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, with 15+ years of experience in HVAC&R product management, application engineering or technical sales. Experience with AC Centrifugal, Modular or Screw chillers and relevant HVAC&R vertical markets is a plus.

• Extensive product or portfolio management experience with Chiller/HP products, with a demonstrated track record of shaping portfolio strategy, guiding investment decisions and delivering profitable growth.

• Experienced in providing product application, technical support, and business direction for Chiller products.

• Experience in contributing to HVAC product roadmaps and supporting regional new product introduction and go-to-market plans.

• Experience in translating VOC, application requirements and industry trends into market and application inputs for product requirements, business cases and technical specifications.

• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, including setting priorities, coaching and building talent capabilities, together with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional execution in a matrix organization.

• Experience working in global teams, with effective cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills.
