The Role

Your role
A technical Network Subject Matter expert role which requires strong hands-on experience on Network technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled Network Subject Matter Expert with strong hands-on experience across network technologies. This role requires the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment while providing both technical expertise and thought leadership in managing complex customer issues and transitioning new business operations and services from customers to Kyndryl.

What you will do
•Diagnose complex issues across servers, networks, cloud environments and systems to identify root causes
•Recommend solutions that balance technical feasibility, timelines and customer priorities
•Test, refine and automate processes to improve reliability, efficiency and repeatability
•Assess risks proactively and implement strategies to prevent disruptions
•Plan end-to-end infrastructure solutions across platforms and technologies
•Integrate systems in hybrid cloud and on-prem environments to ensure seamless operation
•Automate workflows and processes to streamline delivery and reduce errors
•Document architectures and procedures for hand-offs, knowledge sharing and operational continuity
•Coordinate cross-functional teams including Architects, Project Managers and Technicians
•Drive project delivery from initiation to completion with attention to quality and timelines

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Required skills and experience

• Technical networking and analytical skills in the supported network technologies, experience on small- to medium-size network infrastructures
• 5-8 years in Network Routing and Switching IT support
• 2-5 Firewall, Load Balancing and Wireless Technologies
• Sound judgment and tact
• Excellent communication (oral, listening and writing), interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills
• Very good teaming, organization and time management skills
• The ability to work effectively in task oriented challenging environment
• The ability to work effectively with peers and all levels of clients
• Provide expert-level support for enterprise networking technologies, including routing and switching.
• Research, evaluate, design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize network infrastructure solutions across platforms including: Cisco, Arista ,Wireless technologies ,Load balancers, Firewall appliances
• Administer and support Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
• Manage IP address allocation, utilization, and lifecycle processes.

Preferred skills and experience

• Preferred: Progressive record of growth, project, technical and project skills in maintaining and implementing complex network infrastructures
• Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical hands on and documentation, operating procedures, and supporting spreadsheets to meet operational, compliance
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify, document, and resolve recurring issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and network reliability.
• Strong hands-on expertise in enterprise networking technologies.
