Advertisement FlyerPosition will serve on the IT Leadership team and will be responsible for management of assigned division(s) within the IT Department assisting with the planning and implementing of information systems. Responsible for providing technology vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology (IT) initiatives that improve cost effectiveness, service delivery, and program development for County of Moore. Work is performed under the general supervision of the IT Director. Supervision is exercised over department personnel. Work schedule is standard county hours of operations, 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, excluding observed holidays. Due to the nature of Information Technology responsibilities associated with this position, there will be occasions of work outside of the standard hours of operation as well as potentially exceeding a 40-hour work week. In addition to being a member of the Information Technology Leadership Team, the position is a member of the Cyber Response Team and on-call rotation. This position is not eligible for the regular flexible work plan.
•Comprehensive knowledge of technical terminology used in computer operations and of the various hardware, software, and accessory peripherals utilized in a networked system
•Comprehensive knowledge of budget and accounting processes, Microsoft Office applications and various operating systems and applications, and help desk operations
•Understanding of Enterprise resource planning (ERP), geographic information system (GIS), website creation, design and maintenance
•Understanding of Human Resource rules and regulations, mobile devices and mobile device management solutions, hosted telephone solutions, print management programs, audio visual solutions, and departmental service level agreements
•Ability to communicate effectively through speech and writing and to develop and maintain effective working relationships across the entire organization and with vendors
•Ability to work efficiently, prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects, and to prepare and maintain detailed procedures, documentation, and instructions
•High School Diploma and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology resources or programs, including one (1) year of information technology management experience OR
•Associate degree in computer science or related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology resources or programs, including one (1) year of information technology management experience OR
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology resources or programs, including one (1) year of information technology management experience OR
•Master’s degree in computer science or related field and two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology resources or programs, including one (1) year of information technology management experience
