We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Norwich. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Client Executive, working alongside the Lead CE and Broker to support client servicing, placement activity, and day-to-day account management. This role offers the opportunity to be involved across the full placement lifecycle, supporting new business and renewals, and helping to deliver a high standard of service to clients, intermediaries, and markets.
The Client Executive will play an important role in coordinating onboarding, supporting placement and documentation, and assisting with premium collection and distribution, as well as routine servicing of accounts. The role requires a strong understanding of the Lead CE and Broker’s requirements, along with technical knowledge and the ability to build effective working relationships across the business.
Depending on seniority and experience, the Client Executive may also work directly with clients, intermediaries, and markets to help ensure placements are processed accurately and efficiently. A close working relationship with processing and fiduciary colleagues, both onshore and offshore, is essential to support clear communication and prompt resolution of queries and payments.
We will count on you to:
- Work with the Lead CE/Broker to prepare quotes, placements, and endorsements, and support the placement of insurance on suitable terms, at the right price, and with appropriate markets to meet client requirements.
- Communicate, present, and negotiate cover details with insurers and/or clients, either directly or in support of the Lead CE/Broker.
- Support client, intermediary, and market onboarding, due diligence, and reactivation ahead of renewals, including loading prospect details into MPower where appropriate.
- Prepare and manage documentation for insurance placements, renewals, and servicing, including renewal reports, programme documents, quote slips, placement slips, and other disclosure materials.
- Provide clear instructions to processing colleagues and help ensure the accurate and timely handling of queries, authorisations, and distribution of documents such as debit notes, invoices, and evidence of cover.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure correspondence, documentation, and other relevant files are retained correctly.
- Build strong working relationships with Lead CE/Broker teams, operational colleagues, clients, intermediaries, and markets to support effective communication and service delivery.
- Support ongoing client servicing by issuing documentation accurately and on time, and responding promptly to client queries.
What you need to have:
- Client executive, client advisory, or insurance industry experience is beneficial, but not essential.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in AI tools, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
