JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a CNC Mill Machinist in Davisburg. Our client is a Automation Equipment Manufacturer and integrator. The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for full machine setup, program editing, and precision machining of components used in custom automation and conveyor systems.

Responsibilities of a CNC Mill Machinist includes:

• Set up and operate Haas CNC milling machines
• Perform tooling setup, work offsets, and fixture alignment
• Load, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code & M-code)
• Utilize Fanuc controls for program execution and adjustments
• Make on-the-fly edits including feeds, speeds, tool paths, and machine functions
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Hold tight tolerances and perform in-process quality checks
• Troubleshoot machining or program issues independently
• Maintain safe and organized work area

Job Requirements of a CNC Mill Machinist:

• 5+ years of CNC milling experience
• Hands-on experience with Haas CNC mills
• Proficiency with Fanuc controls
• Experience with Mastercam
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code (editing and troubleshooting)
• Ability to perform full setups, offsets, and program edits
• Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge

Preferred Experience

• At-the-machine programming experience
