Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related situations, and work collaboratively with care and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with healthcare staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
