Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management.
Alarm Panel Experience (B202)Familiarity with alarm panel systems is required for positions that involve security monitoring.
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks and communication.
CPR Certification (B205)A valid CPR certification is mandatory for roles that require emergency response capabilities.
Customer Service Experience (B219)Previous experience in customer service is essential for positions that involve direct interaction with clients or customers.

- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, campus policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with maintaining an orderly environment during academic activities, campus events, and changing schedules.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, observations, and patrol-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
