This is an exciting job opportunity for you as an R&D Project Manager in Peachtree City or Atlanta, GA, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.
Guide the development and implementation of lighting fixtures and connected lighting projects (mechanical, electrical, software, testing, regulatory) that enable the world of IoT.
Work with a cross functional team to manage projects from concept to commercial implementation.
Coordinate closely with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams to document project scope and objectives and with core teams to maintain a project plan aligned with the stage gate product development process.
Integrate business, marketing and technology elements to create a cohesive project vision and team charter.
Manage project and product definition activities related to marketing and/or technical requirements.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline
3+ years of experience in project or engineering management with knowledge of new mechanical/electrical product development and market introductions
Proficient with project management tools (i.e., MS Project)
Proven track record of managing new product development through a stage gate process is highly preferred
Influential leader with excellent communication, organizational and people skills and successful working across functional groups

Salary: $101,580 - 148,973 based on experience
Bonus: target bonus opportunity - 10%
