The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Business Development Manager, Flexographic Solutions, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Driving growth of the Flexographic Printing Tape portfolio through direct sales coverage in Italy
• Developing strong relationships with end users, converters, printers, prepress houses, channel partners, and other key stakeholders in the Italian market
• Leading strategic growth business programs with assigned global OEMs and key accounts
• Translating business unit strategy into territory and account plans, clearly articulating the flexo tapes value proposition
• Partnering with channel teams and working cross-functionally with marketing, technical service, pricing, and supply chain to accelerate growth
• Meeting or exceeding designated sales targets in Italy and supporting growth across assigned EMEA accounts
• Providing market, customer, and competitive insights to commercial and portfolio leadership
• Managing an effective opportunity pipeline and conducting regular business reviews for priority customers and opportunities

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Significant experience in B2B industrial sales
• Experience managing global/regional customers, distributors, OEMs, or key accounts
• Fluent Italian with strong business English, both written and verbal
• Current valid driver’s license

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience in Flexographic Printing, or Printing Industry experience
• Experience articulating value propositions and system-selling.
• Experience developing and managing key accounts and OEM relationships.
• Experience developing and managing a large geographic territory.
• Product demonstration experience and commercial acumen.
• Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork.
• Established network in the Italian flexographic market
• Customer-first, outcomes-oriented, organized, and able to adhere to deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Printing Technology, Materials/Polymer Science, or related field

Job specifics:

• Location: Remote in Italy
• Travel: May include up to 50% domestic and international travel
• Working pattern: Full time
• The position is classified at level Quadro A3 under the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry (Industria).
• The gross annual remuneration envisaged for the role ranges between €90.000 and € 95.000. The determination of the final starting remuneration within this range will be agreed taking into account the Company's organizational context, the provisions of the applicable CCNL, and objective and gender-neutral criteria, including professional qualifications, relevant work experience, skills and competencies possessed, and the level of responsibility associated with the position. The position may also provide access to a variable remuneration component of up to 20% of the gross annual remuneration, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the applicable Company incentive scheme.
• Additional benefits and allowances may be granted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, the relevant CCNL, and the Company policies and programmes in force at the commencement of employment.
