The Data and Reporting Professional generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. The Data and Reporting Professional work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Data and Reporting Professional integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. May create specifications for reports based on business requests. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

This position is created specifically to assist with Humana's efforts to secure and, if awarded, transition into a new business opportunity. Please note that continued employment in this role is expressly contingent upon Humana's receipt of the business opportunity and a satisfactory transition into the work. In the event Humana does not pursue the opportunity or determines that a timely and satisfactory transition cannot be achieved, employment may be subject to termination.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of technical experience in data reporting
• 5+ years of experience in SQL and Tableau
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, charts, and graphs
• Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position
• This position requires approval for a government security clearance (Via National Background Investigation Services NBIS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Experience in managed care or health care sector
• Prior experience working in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

 

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

 

$60,800 - $82,900 per year

 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
