Team Overview and Job Responsibilities

The position is part of the Purchasing Department based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The department is responsible for sourcing goods and services required by the manufacturing operations, ensuring competitiveness, supplier compliance, cost efficiency, and continuity of supply aligned with internal customer requirements.

You will join a dynamic team of six procurement professionals and work closely with Senior Buyers, providing support across a broad range of purchasing activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting sourcing and procurement processes for indirect materials, services, and operational requirements.
• Requesting quotations, analyzing commercial proposals, and assisting in supplier negotiations.
• Creating and following up purchase orders in SAP.
• Monitoring supplier performance, delivery commitments, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders from Operations, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, and other functions.
• Preparing reports, spend analyses, presentations, and procurement documentation.
• Supporting supplier qualification and compliance activities.
• Participating in cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining purchasing data and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to strategic sourcing activities while developing strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills within a multinational manufacturing environment.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a proactive and motivated student in International Trade, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Interest in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and commercial negotiations.
• Intermediate English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• SAP knowledge is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• High level of autonomy, accountability, and attention to detail.
