Maintenance Technician

We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation and maintenance of a busy cold storage warehouse in the Byron/Fort Valley, GA area.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Location: Byron/Fort Valley, GA
Pay: $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Environment: Cold Storage Warehouse

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on warehouse equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and make necessary repairs
• Diagnose equipment problems and determine the appropriate repair or adjustment
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential maintenance issues
• Perform general mechanical maintenance, repairs, and adjustments
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Help keep equipment and work areas safe, clean, and operational
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company guidelines
• Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime
• Perform other maintenance duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance technician or industrial maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
• Experience maintaining warehouse, production, refrigeration, or material-handling equipment is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and make repairs with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a cold storage environment
• Ability to safely perform physical maintenance tasks
