Key Responsibilities:
- Assist UW with prescreening new business transactions including due diligence, analyzing and spreading financial statements, financial modeling, deal structuring, analyzing collateral, company research and sponsor.
- Prepare prescreens and assist in underwriting packages.
- Prepare yield analysis and Balance Sheet Forum packages.
- Participate in Credit approval discussions and a knowledgeable deal owner.
- Work with Underwriter to complete steps necessary for documentation and closing including reviewing loan agreement for accuracy, establishing financial covenants, and collecting all information needed for Closer.
- System maintenance including Salesforce and Alloscape.
- Communication with prospects and customers
- Team with Treasury Management partners to establish bank accounts and other treasury services.
- Time permitting, assist Portfolio Managers with PM Analyst duties.
Key Competences:
- Knowledge of ABL loan structures, collateral management and borrowing base calculations with healthcare experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with clients and teammates
- Familiarity with regulatory and underwriting requirements related to healthcare ABL is a plus
Work Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in asset-based lending, healthcare lending or financial analysis
- Proficiency in financial systems and software, with advanced skills in Excel
- Knowledge of ABL loan structures, collateral management and borrowing base calculations
- Experience with loan management systems (Stucky, ACBS, etc.)
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related areas
