What would you do? 1. Prepare and submit accurate 1099 forms for vendors, contractors, and other non-employee entities, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations. 2. Review and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy in 1099 reporting. 3. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations related to 1099 reporting and incorporate these changes into company processes and procedures. 4. Assist with year-end tax reporting processes, including issuing and distributing 1099 forms to recipients and filing with the appropriate tax authorities. Record to Report (R2R) - Tax involves managing financial records to ensure compliance with tax regulations. This role includes collecting and processing financial data, preparing tax returns, and ensuring timely tax payments. It also involves conducting tax audits and providing accurate tax reports to authorities. The goal is to ensure the organization meets all tax obligations and avoids penalties. Design and implement processes for direct Tax/income tax. Includes direct tax/income tax planning, income tax accounting, income tax compliance and income tax audit.
What are we looking for? The person should have good accounting knowledge and has prior experience in US Taxation. Prior experience in Insurance Industries. •1. Good Analytical Skill 2. Good Communication Skill 3. Advance Excel knowledge 4. Skill in identifying operational inefficiencies and developing innovative solutions
