Sr. System Administrators, based in Woburn, MA internally known as Sr. Principal Analyst Infrastructure Workplace Services, collaborate with many teams to support exciting, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you can develop, implement and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.
What You Will Do:
- Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.
- Understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
- Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.
- Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
- Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
- Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within a reasonable amount of time
- Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
- Start date will not be set until Interim clearance is obtained
Full time 100% onsite positioned in Woburn, MA but will support multiple programs at multi locations such as Woburn, MA, Tewksbury, MA and Andover, MA as business requires.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Must be able to obtain a secret clearance is required prior to start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Start date will not be set until Interim clearance is obtained
- Experience administering and securing Windows and RHEL servers
- Experience with VMware virtualization
- Experience with securing system configurations, system hardening
- Experience scripting
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Active Secret clearance
- Experience serving as a technical SME or primary point of contact for patching, vulnerability remediation, or compliance initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with MECM/SCCM, PXE boot services, OS imaging, and automated software deployment frameworks.
- Familiarity with NetApp storage and/or HPC environments.
- Experience with enterprise Windows services, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity integration.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance tooling, such as ACAS, SCAP, Splunk, STIG Viewer, and audit support processes.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
