Job Description

The Human Resources Intern will collaborate within our HR teams in all areas of support. This position gains hands on experience in all department disciplines such as compensation & benefits, recruiting, employee relations, payroll, onboarding, as well as an opportunity to foster confidence and relationships with both management and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, employee relations and recruiting via email or case system
• Provide onboarding administrative support for corporate on-site and retail positions
• Assist with planning, logistics, and attendee tracking for learning and development training sessions
• Handle Predictive Index user account administration
• Support recruitment efforts, such as sourcing candidates and coordinating hiring events
• Contribute to special projects and internal process improvement initiatives
• Participate in professional development opportunities such as training, leadership meetings and shadowing experiences

Skills and Knowledge

Ability to work in a team environment give and receive honest, direct feedback, Effective collaboration and communication skills, able to work across multiple teams, Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university and/or recent graduate with or pursuing a relevant degree (e.g. HR, Business Administration, etc.)
• Retail experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment
• Able to clearly view and read information on a computer screen
• Occasionally lift or move items up to 15 pounds (e.g., promotional materials, product samples, etc)

Pay Range

$18.00 - $22.00
