This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. The role is within the Robotics division of ABB and oversees the operational aspects of a local unit(s), encompassing the full scope of operations, including project management and control, engineering, production, order administration, procurement, quality, continuous improvement, and logistics.
Ensures strict adherence to policies and required health, safety, and integrity standards.

This role is contributing to the ABB Robotics Canada
Responsibilities:
Develops and executes a customer-focused operations strategy derived from the overall business and functional strategy for the local unit, aligned with business area/division/product group strategy and targets.
Owns and is accountable for delivering operations KPIs in line with ABB expectations, including safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. Manages integrated project management and ensures on-time/on-margin project execution to deliver project gross margins and profitability.
Champions a culture of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement across the organization. Monitors NPS (Net Promoter Score) results and develops cross-functional initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.
Lead and maintain the site's ISO 9001:2015 Audit and certified Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.
Ensures compliance with local and global standards, rules, policies, and procedures related to operations/project execution/supply chain. Drives cost-saving initiatives with SCM and communicates these with applications and sales.
Collaborates with Customer Service, Sales & Applications to review solutions, identify risks, and implement plans to ensure profitability.
Assesses risks and safety hazards, implementing plans to ensure the safety of people and equipment.
Ensures all operations functions are properly organized, staffed, and directed. Builds an effective, capable, and high-performing organization, developing talent and continuously improving organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
You have a minimum of 12 years experience in end-to-end operations management, project management, and quality assurance & excellence.
Proven experience in budget and performance management, strategy implementation, and data analysis & reporting.
Strong focus on customer satisfaction and experience with engineering & manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in inventory management & control, logistics, and supplier relationship management.
Skilled in resource management & capacity planning, governance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $128,850 to 171,800 annually.
