Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Luxury Retail Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming customer experience. You will communicate professionally with customers and staff, report concerns, and contribute to a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate security-related observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
