About the Role
Drive sales growth across your assigned region in the safety industry. You'll promote our DuPont™ Tyvek® and Tychem® portfolio to end-users through our distribution channel — building brand power, closing high-value opportunities, and gaining share through end-user penetration.
You'll succeed by:
Training and equipping channel sellers to sell the DPP portfolio
Building the value proposition vs. competition (with Marketing)
Closing our highest-value opportunities and resolving account threats
Coaching internal and external sellers to win
This role blends independent drive with cross-functional teamwork, strong consultative selling, and the ability to tailor custom product and service solutions to customer needs.
Location: Remote-Based in Northern California or Nevada
Travel 25–50% (overnight)
What You'll Do
Build and execute regional sales strategies to hit targets
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Grow strong relationships with customers, distributors, and rep firms
Deliver product demos, presentations, and customer training
Track market trends and competitor activity
Engage channel and distributor sellers to close high-value end-user deals
Maintain the Salesforce.com pipeline, account plans, and call reports
Provide subject-matter expertise on the DPP portfolio
Prepare sales reports and forecasts
Represent DuPont at trade shows and industry events
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, science, or related field
3–5 years of sales experience (safety industry preferred)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and on a team
Excellent organization and time management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Willingness to travel 25–50% overnight within the region
