South Beach Manor, our beautiful memory care facility located in South Beach, OR is looking for a Maintenance Technician. If you are interested in learning more about this position, please submit your application and a member of our team will be in touch soon!
Job Duties:
- Support safe practices, infection control, and respect for residents’ rights;
- Coordinate projects maintenance and upkeep with Administrator/Office Manager and home office;
- Ensure compliance with AHJ.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on, including but not limited to mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Respond promptly to requests for assistance relating to maintenance;
- Provide or coordinate routine grounds maintenance
- Assure that all safety equipment is in proper working order
- Provide finish work, surface repair, painting,
- Assist in planning and implementing large projects.
- Document work in the manner required by home office
- Be willing and able to assist in other departments of the community

Requirements
Schedule:
- Full-Time
- Mon - Fri: 8am - 4:30pm
- On-call as needed
Qualifications and Job Skills:
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must have a driver's license & pass a motor vehicle record check
- Willing to work nights and weekends as needed for emergencies
- Must follow safety and OSHA regulations
- Must have a working knowledge of building maintenance and upkeep
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have a strong commitment to customer service
- Must have computer skills
- Able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds routinely
- Able to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, reach and climb ladders.
