WAE - Instrument Specialist
Job Summary
The Instrument Specialist will provide hands-on, individualized instruction to students on their primary instruments and assigned repertoire. Through one-on-one and small group settings, the specialist will tailor teaching to meet each student's unique needs and skill level, reinforcing foundational techniques, support musical growth, and building student confidence as performers.
Job Responsibilities
20%--Provide individualized instruction to students, one on one and in small group, to enhance their understanding and production of characteristic tone at a performing musician’s level.
20%--Guide students through assigned repertoire, fostering musical growth by introducing and demonstrating new concepts and performance practices.
20%--Adapt teaching methods to accommodate each student’s unique learning style and support their ongoing skill development.
20%--Mentor and encourage students to build confidence in their abilities and prepare effectively for performances.
20%--Model the skills and professionalism expected of a highly successful performing musician.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
