Join Toyota Automated Logistics (TAL) in Kewdale, Perth, WA, as a Senior Service Technician supporting one of Australia's most advanced automated picking solution facilities. Working across electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and warehouse control systems, you'll help maximise system reliability, provide technical leadership, and drive continuous improvement at the largest automotive parts distribution centre in the Southern Hemisphere.
Based at a flagship customer site, you'll enjoy a high level of autonomy, work closely with the customer, and play a key role in maintaining critical automation systems that keep operations running smoothly.
Your Impact:
Act as the primary technical point of contact for the customer, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on automated material handling equipment to ensure optimal equipment reliability.
Conduct technical troubleshooting and provide expert support during system outages, minimising operational downtime.
Monitor and maintain warehouse control system equipment to ensure optimum performance.
Maintain accurate maintenance and spare parts records within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Manage spare parts inventory and replenishment.
What makes you a great fit?
Trade qualified Electrician, Electrical Fitter or Mechanical Fitter
An A-Grade Electrical License or a Restricted Electrical Worker's License (or the ability to obtain one), in order to perform disconnect and reconnect activities.
Experience maintaining and servicing automated material handling, warehouse automation, or industrial equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and pride in delivering quality work.
Comfortable working autonomously, working under pressure, and making sound decisions in a customer-facing environment.
Committed to safety, reliability, continuous improvement, and maintaining high standards.
Experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems, PLC control systems, industrial networks, or warehouse control systems is highly advantageous.
