The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Team:
RTX Raytheon Real Estate Services has an opening for a Facilities Maintenance Technician - Infrastructure Systems (Sr. Supervisor, Facilities) at the Chesapeake Bay VA site.
What You Will Do
- The position focus will be to maintain, troubleshoot and repair all infrastructure systems including HVAC, Chilled Water Distribution, pumps, motors, and frontend Building automation controls.
- In this role you need to perform as a first night shift compressed facilities mechanic supporting plant operations.
- This role requires the ability to work 12-hour shifts in order to cover the site 24/7 from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm.
- Provide coverage and support for the facility days/nights/weekends if business, schedule, or emergency situations arise.
What You Will Learn
- How to manage facilities operations in a 2 Million square foot manufacturing building; gain technical experience working alongside senior mechanics and contractors and learn to troubleshoot large infrastructure equipment and controls.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED or AA/AS degree (or another 2 year post HS training) and 4 or more years of relevant experience
- 4+ years’ experience in (three or more) of the following areas:
- HVAC and Building Automation Controls
- Maintenance of pumps, motors, valve and actuator operation
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
- Refrigeration cycles
- 2+ years’ experience reading and interpreting blueprints and complex schematics as well as OSHA regulations and standards for Safe work practice, hazard assessment and mitigation.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Computer experience in the function and application of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as well as common office technology including MS office suite of software and other Web based tools.
- Experience in Electrical, VFD's and motor controls and leading team members
- PLC controls troubleshooting
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
