Position Overview
Alexandria Insights is seeking a Mid-Level Logistics Analyst to support a Marine Corps program office in Quantico, VA. The ideal candidate is a hands-on Marine Corps logistics professional with experience supporting equipment fielding, sustainment, maintenance, supply, readiness, and life cycle logistics. This position is well suited for someone who understands that effective logistics support extends beyond the program office. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with Marine Corps enterprise logistics systems, particularly GCSS-MC, analyzing logistics and readiness data, coordinating with operational units and logistics organizations, and traveling to the field to support equipment fielding, inventories, maintenance activities, and other customer requirements. The position requires an individual who can identify a logistics problem, research the data, coordinate with the appropriate stakeholders, and help drive the issue to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct logistics support to program management, logistics leadership, Product Managers, Team Leads, Project Officers, and Integrated Product Teams.
• Support life cycle logistics activities throughout acquisition, fielding, sustainment, and transition to organic support.
• Utilize GCSS-MC and other Marine Corps enterprise logistics systems to research equipment records, maintenance history, supply status, inventory, readiness, and equipment accountability.
• Analyze logistics data to identify maintenance trends, supply deficiencies, equipment accountability issues, readiness impacts, and sustainment risks.
• Research discrepancies and coordinate with program personnel, operating forces, MARCORLOGCOM, maintenance activities, supply organizations, and other stakeholders to develop and implement solutions.
• Support equipment fielding and deployment, including fielding coordination, equipment inventories, accountability, documentation, unit coordination, and resolution of fielding-related issues.
• Travel periodically to Marine Corps installations and operational locations to support fielding events, inventories, maintenance activities, training, assessments, and customer engagements.
• Support Integrated Product Teams and other cross-functional forums by providing actionable logistics analysis, status, recommendations, and subject-matter expertise.
• Provide logistics input to acquisition and sustainment planning, engineering changes, configuration management, testing, training, and other program activities.
• Support the development and review of life cycle logistics products and program documentation as required, ensuring logistics considerations are accurately represented and aligned with program requirements.
• Assist with inventory management, supply chain coordination, transportation, equipment accountability, and other logistics operations.
• Monitor technical publications and logistics data to identify discrepancies or impacts to equipment sustainment and readiness.
• Prepare concise logistics analyses, reports, status updates, and briefings for program leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Work independently to identify emerging issues and take initiative to resolve problems rather than simply report them.
• Perform other logistics and program support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, with 3–5 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and directly applicable Marine Corps logistics experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience using GCSS-MC to research, analyze, manage, or reconcile Marine Corps equipment, maintenance, supply, inventory, or readiness information.
• Experience supporting Marine Corps logistics operations, preferably involving equipment fielding, sustainment, maintenance, supply, readiness, or equipment accountability.
• Familiarity with Marine Corps enterprise logistics applications, including GCSS-MC, L-DART, Catalyst, TFSMS, and related systems.
• Understanding of Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and life cycle logistics principles across acquisition and sustainment.
• DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics Foundational certification or equivalent experience; additional DAWIA LCL credentials are preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel periodically in support of fielding, inventories, maintenance activities, training, assessments, and other customer requirements.
• Comfortable interacting directly with Marine Corps units, program office personnel, logistics organizations, maintenance activities, and contractor/OEM representatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate logistics data into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to Integrated Product Teams and cross-functional working groups.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief logistics issues and recommendations to technical and senior leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a dynamic program-office environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance or possess an active Secret clearance.

Salary Range
$75,000–$95,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
