ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Front of House Manager for a luxury island resort in the Caribbean. This is a senior operational leadership role with direct responsibility for Front Office, Concierge, Butler, Tour Desk, Spa, and Watersports. The successful candidate will also serve as acting Resort Manager during the Resort Manager's absences, offering a clear and meaningful pathway to broader resort leadership.

 

We are looking for someone proactive, hands-on, and operationally strong. Caribbean management experience is not just preferred; it is an important consideration in our selection process.

 

• Lead and manage Front Office and Concierge as the direct department manager
• Oversee the Butler, Tour Desk, Spa, and Watersports teams, with the Spa Manager and Watersports Manager reporting directly to this role
• Take ownership of the overall guest arrival and departure experience, ensuring every touchpoint exceeds expectations
• Step into the Resort Manager role during absences, providing broader operational oversight across the property
• Build and maintain a high-performing, engaged team across a diverse, multicultural workforce
• Drive operational consistency, guest satisfaction, and service standards across all areas of responsibility

 

 

• Caribbean management experience is required, a strong understanding of the region, its workforce, and operating environment is essential
• Caribbean experience is strongly preferred
• Strong OPERA proficiency is non-negotiable
• Excellent Front Office and Concierge/Reservations experience
• Previous Rooms Division experience is highly advantageous
• Proven track record managing diverse, multicultural teams
• Hands-on management style with a genuine willingness to be involved in day-to-day operations
• The confidence and capability to step into a broader Resort Manager role when required
• Excellent guest relations, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong operational and organizational abilities
