Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading healthcare location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at a front desk within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, visitor management protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet, screen, and direct employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in a professional manner while verifying access authorization in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor access points, maintain visitor logs, issue and collect visitor credentials, and communicate entry requirements to support controlled access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, answer incoming calls, provide general site information, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
