What you’ll do
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and reporting requirements.
- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions, KPI frameworks, dashboards, and performance scorecards.
- Design, define, and standardize business KPIs, metrics, and reporting methodologies.
- Analyze enterprise data residing in Hadoop-based platforms using SQL, Hive, Presto/Trino, or similar technologies.
- Develop interactive dashboards and self-service reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by validating data and KPI calculations.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and IT teams to understand data models, improve data quality, and support reporting requirements.
- Apply visualization best practices and data storytelling techniques to communicate complex information effectively.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and continuously improve analytics solutions.
- Document business requirements, KPI definitions, and reporting logic to support governance and standardization.
- Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership.
What you need to bring
- Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into actionable KPIs, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying enterprise data in Hadoop environments (Hive, Presto/Trino, Spark SQL, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, Power Query, and dashboard development.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data models, data warehousing concepts, and business performance metrics.
- Experience with data visualization best practices and executive-level dashboard design.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power Automate, Python, and data governance tools is desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and data storytelling skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across global and cross-functional teams.
Education and Experience Required:
- PhD degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or equivalent preferred. Or Master´s Degree in these areas and at least 2-3 years of relevant experience.
