About the Job

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support the maintenance, implementation, and customization of ServiceNow solutions for a leading European institution.

In this role, you will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of enterprise service management solutions, working closely with architects, administrators, business stakeholders, and technical teams. You will play a key role in delivering new functionalities, ensuring platform stability, and supporting business processes through scalable and secure ServiceNow implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
• Analyse and assess new functional requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
• Develop, test, validate, and deploy ServiceNow enhancements and custom applications.
• Conduct application reviews and code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and security.
• Collaborate with architects, administrators, and cross-functional teams on development initiatives.
• Manage and maintain ServiceNow platform components, configurations, and integrations.
• Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and platform releases.
• Troubleshoot incidents, resolve defects, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure the proper functioning of integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
• Provide day-to-day operational support and implement service improvements.
• Produce and maintain technical, operational, and user documentation.
• Contribute to solution design activities and provide technical recommendations.
• Support project planning, implementation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to platform security, risk management, and operational resilience practices.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with best practices and governance standards.

Profile Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience developing and configuring ServiceNow solutions.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and capabilities.
• Experience with ServiceNow customization, workflows, forms, catalog items, and business rules.
• Experience developing, testing, and deploying platform enhancements.
• Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and processes.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Knowledge of system integrations and enterprise application environments.
• Ability to produce clear technical and operational documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional proficiency in English.
