Description
Senior Architect / Senior Project Manager (K-12)
Established, employee-owned architecture firm seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead projects, manage client relationships, mentor project teams, and contribute to the firm's continued growth.
This is a visible senior leadership role for an experienced K-12 architect who can guide projects from initial planning through construction, lead client relationships and project teams, and work closely with firm leadership. The role offers the opportunity to take on broader leadership responsibilities and have a meaningful impact on the firm's future.
Responsibilities
Lead architectural projects from planning and schematic design through construction administration and occupancy
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, financial performance, and overall delivery
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and specialty consultants
Lead project meetings and guide teams through design, technical, coordination, and delivery challenges
Participate in client presentations, interviews, and efforts to secure new work
Maintain and develop strong client relationships
Mentor and support project team members
Qualifications
Professional degree in Architecture
Ten (10) or more years of architectural experience
Demonstrated experience leading projects and multidisciplinary teams
Strong client-facing experience with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and project delivery
Experience leading K-12 or educational projects
Experience with BIM and architectural production and coordination workflows
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
Familiarity with Bluebeam, Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC, Deltek/Vantage, or similar platforms is a plus
