Location: Durrington, Worthing - hybrid working, with two days onsite and three days working from home
Contract Type: 10-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on skills, experience and qualifications
About the role
We're looking for a creative and proactive Campaign Marketing Manager to join our Marketing and Brand team, leading the planning and delivery of customer-focused marketing and communications campaigns across multiple channels.
You'll turn key business priorities into clear, engaging campaigns that help build trust in Southern Water, strengthen our brand reputation and educate customers and communities at a pivotal time for the water industry. Using customer insight and performance data, you'll shape the campaign approach, measure success and apply a test-and-learn mindset to continually improve results and return on investment.
You'll work collaboratively across the business and with external agency partners to make sure campaigns are fully integrated across marketing, PR, digital, internal communications and stakeholder engagement. You'll bring fresh ideas, confident project leadership and a strong understanding of how consistent messaging and creative execution come together to make an impact.

What you'll be responsible for:
Planning and delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that support Southern Water's strategic priorities and enhance brand reputation
Translating customer insight and business objectives into clear campaign strategies, messaging and delivery plans
Building strong internal relationships to ensure campaigns are joined up and messaging is consistent across all customer and stakeholder channels
Managing external agencies, developing clear briefs and challenging partners to deliver creative, insight-led work
Overseeing campaign budgets, timelines and priorities to ensure activity is delivered effectively and to deadline
Measuring campaign performance and return on investment, sharing clear results and using learning to optimise future activity
Acting as a brand guardian, ensuring campaign materials follow our brand guidelines and tone of voice
Identifying opportunities for new approaches, channels and ideas that improve customer understanding, trust and engagement
What you'll bring to the role:
Essential
Proven experience planning and delivering creative, data-led marketing campaigns across multiple channels
A proactive, ownership-driven approach, with the confidence to move work forward and solve problems
Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working collaboratively with internal teams and external agency partners
Excellent project management skills, including managing budgets, competing priorities and demanding deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, engaging customer messaging
The ability to analyse campaign metrics, evaluate performance and use insight to improve results
Hands-on experience using email marketing tools and delivering digital campaign activity
Confidence developing innovative campaign strategies and managing cross-functional relationships
Desirable
A recognised marketing qualification, such as CIM or an equivalent
