Job Summary
The Director of Enterprise Security will be responsible for implementing and running the enterprise information security program. That will involve identifying, evaluating cybersecurity risk to information assets, while supporting and advancing business objectives. The Director of Enterprise Security must be knowledgeable about both internal and external business environments, and ensure that information systems are maintained in a fully functional and secure mode and are compliant with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations. He or she serves as the process owner of the appropriate second-line assurance activities not only related to confidentiality, integrity and availability, but also to the safety, privacy and recovery of information owned or processed by the business in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, mathematics, computer science or related field preferred.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science and/or advanced technical certifications preferred.
- 10+ years of experience with computer operations required.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in an environment of similar complexity required.
- 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry required.
- 5+ years management experience supporting and implementing systems with either a hardware or software focus preferred.
- Experience with support of mission critical application and systems within a healthcare system required.
- Experience managing a staff of technology professionals including Network Communications, Information Technology Security, Distributed Computing, and Server and Storage required.
- Experience working with financial budgets and planning required.
- Experience managing relationships with end users customers in both a business and a clinical setting required.
- Experience with key Children’s applications and technologies required.
- Previous management/supervisory experience, including budgeting, planning and supervision of personnel required.
- The ability to lead a high performance team as well as strength in managing and developing customer relationships and strategically expanding new and existing customer partnerships.
- Develops and manages quality assurance and change control processes to protect the production environment.
- Knowledge of and experience with managing the internal and external system and hardware security needs of a healthcare organization.
- Strong leadership and decision making abilities.
- Possesses analytical ability to analyze situations/information to formulate a plan of action, and take action as appropriate, that is in-line with patient care, business and financial considerations.
