Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Prepare marketing reports by collecting and analysing data.
· Create and maintain the marketing books for all Skechers brands in all media and PR activity for the year.
· Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department, stock inventory, placing orders and verifying receipt.
· Support sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information and relaying customer services requests.
· Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, advertising and maintaining research databases.
· Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications.
· Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments and coordinating mailing lists.
· Identify companies within different target markets as agreed with the Marketing Manager and perform market research as required.
· Co-ordinate weekly direct mail initiatives (planning, mail merge individual letters, printing, checking, signing and packaging).
· Draft new letters as required in conjunction with the Marketing Manager.
· Work closely with Marketing team to schedule calls, confirm appointments, report back on quotations made and outcomes.
· Keep the marketing database up-to-date, import new data, update records and perform the necessary cross checks.
· Prepare partner briefing packs prior to prospect appointments.
· Work with Press department to arrange materials for press call-ins and photo shoots.
· Monitor and collect press and print coverage and report back to the business.
· Help manage social media platforms by posting and engaging with customers.
· Work with events team to manage and execute Skechers events.
· Provide support to Marketing Manager to process invoices and create PO’s for approval.
