As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Registration in Florence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor and vehicle activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, contractors, and guests. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while helping to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue access badges as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records.
• Coordinate access for deliveries, vendors, and contractors in accordance with site procedures, while reporting unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
