We are looking for a qualified Mechanical Assembly Technician to support the continued expansion of our cryogenic pump production facility in Wurzen.

In this role, you will operate the relevant tools and equipment to assemble mechanical structures and components with a high degree of precision. Your work is essential to ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

The ideal candidate has excellent manual skills, a keen eye for detail, and sound knowledge of different types of metals and their properties.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Perform the high-quality assembly of cryogenic heat exchangers.
• Follow all technical specifications outlined in the approved design and manufacturing documents throughout the production process.
• Assemble, align, and adjust all components to tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot issues, rework components, and document any modifications made.
• Inspect and document relevant design and manufacturing characteristics, such as dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the workplace in accordance with 5S principles and the company’s internal maintenance requirements as defined in the Quality Management Manual.
• Follow all applicable quality management procedures, work instructions, and inspection instructions throughout each stage of the manufacturing process.
• Perform specified acceptance and quality tests, including pressure and ultrasonic testing.
• Comply with all occupational health and safety, accident prevention, and environmental protection regulations.
• Perform packaging and loading activities in accordance with the applicable instructions.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training in a technical field or initial professional experience working with production equipment
• Experience in reading technical drawings, working with specified torque values, and using inspection and measuring tools
• Experience in bending, flaring, and threading pipes
• Confident and safe operation of standard machining equipment and welding machines, with particular attention to occupational safety, accident prevention, and fire protection requirements

 

Personal Skills

• Good technical understanding and basic computer skills
• Forklift licence is an advantage if the role involves transporting materials
• Strong quality awareness and ability to work effectively as part of a team
