Newport News, VA | $90,000–$110,000/year
If you’re an experienced project manager who knows how industrial mechanical construction really works, this is an opportunity to take ownership of major projects from the first estimate to final completion.
You’ll work directly with industrial customers, general contractors, subcontractors, fabrication teams, and field crews to turn complex project requirements into successful installations. Your decisions will influence budgets, schedules, safety, quality, and the overall success of each project.

What you’ll do:
• Manage industrial mechanical construction projects from estimating through completion
• Develop project scopes, estimates, proposals, budgets, schedules, and procurement plans
• Build strong relationships with industrial customers
• Coordinate customers, general contractors, subcontractors, fabrication, and field operations
• Track labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and change orders
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress and financial performance to management
• Identify project risks and resolve technical and operational challenges
• Support commissioning, testing, startup, owner training, O&M manuals, and project closeout
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
What you’ll need:
• 5+ years of Industrial Project Management experience
• Experience managing mechanical construction projects in industrial environments
• Strong experience with process piping, steam systems, alloy piping, central utility plants, or process equipment
• Experience in manufacturing facilities, shipyards, power generation, food and beverage, paper mills, or similar industrial environments
• Strong estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and cost-control experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Management, or a related field preferred
• PMP certification preferred
• Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus
