Want to join the leader in AI-powered data security?
This is the operational and forecasting backbone behind how Cohesity collects on what it bills. As Senior Collections Manager, you own global collections forecasting, cash performance, and credit-policy compliance, and you lead the team responsible for the health of the receivables book. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will lead a distributed, global collections team, own the forecasting and risk tools that protect cash flow, and be the person leadership leans on to explain exposure, variance, and the plan to close the gap.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
- Weekly & Quarterly Collections Forecasting
- Own the weekly collections forecast: against the quarterly benchmark, identifying variances and driving corrective action across regions.
- Build and maintain the forecasting models that cash-flow decisions are made against, including gross/net cumulative views and disti-level detail.
- Reconcile forecast to actuals and partner with Accounting on cash application and adjustments.
- Credit Policy, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure collections practices comply with the Global Credit & Bookings Policy, including credit limits, exception handling, and escalation paths.
- Own the Global Aging Report cadence and the credit watchlist: flagging at-risk accounts and quantifying exposure.
- Partner with Sales and Legal on collection strategy for at-risk and past-due accounts.
- Lead and develop a global collections team spanning India and the US, ensuring workload is distributed evenly and coverage scales with account volume.
- Design and defend the coverage model with data: accounts per FTE, AR dollars per FTE, and aging-weighted load.
- Own headcount and backfill planning for the collections team, partnering with Recruiting on requisitions.
- Executive Reporting & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Deliver clear, accurate collections and cash performance reporting to Finance and Sales leadership.
- Partner with Deal Desk, Legal, and Renewals Sales to resolve billing disputes and remove friction from the collections lifecycle.
- Govern the integrity of collections data across NetSuite and Salesforce.
WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional credit or accounting qualification is a plus.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Credit & Collections or AR management, including people-management experience, preferably within a fast-paced technology or SaaS company.
- Demonstrated mastery of AR/collections metrics: DSO, aging, and how collections performance flows to cash and the financials.
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to build scalable, auditable forecasting models.
- Proven ability to lead distributed teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
WE ARE EXTRA EXCITED IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Direct experience owning a global or multi-region collections operation.
- Fluency with NetSuite, Salesforce, and Excel-based forecasting tools.
- Proven use of AI-native tools (e.g.Claude) to automate forecasting and reporting workflows.
- Experience at a US-headquartered, high-growth technology company with a global or EMEA collections remit is strongly preferred — for example, companies such as Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Datadog, HubSpot, Stripe, Zendesk, Veeam, or NetApp, ideally with exposure to a Dublin/Cork EMEA finance hub.
HOW YOU WILL BE MEASURED:
- Collections forecast held within a tight, agreed tolerance against the quarterly benchmark.
- A single, trusted credit watchlist and aging view that leadership uses to manage bad-debt exposure.
- Coverage model that is demonstrably even and scales cleanly with account volume growth.
- Recognized within 6 months as the go-to authority on global collections performance and risk.
