What would you do? • You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. • The Close & Reconciliations team executes period-end close activities using the approved close calendar, task-management tool and responsibility matrix. The team checks interface execution, identifies exceptions, posts approved corrective entries, completes subledger and GL close tasks, prepares balance-sheet and other financial reconciliations, investigates aged open items, documents resolution plans and supports. • Implementation of gen. • ledger processes including yearend closing, journalizing. • Creating and maintaining ledgers, ledger currencies, budgets, and journal entries, design to deliver a financial management solution including a flexible accounting structure, comprehensive journal processing, hierarchical summaries, intuitive inquiry and reporting as well as dynamic allocations and the management of commitments and expenditures also run Interface reports and perform close books of accounts.
What are we looking for? • We are looking for individuals who have the following skillset: • • Finance Processes • • End-to-end month-end close, subledger close, journal processing and balance-sheet reconciliation • • Peak-close prioritization, variance research, open-item management and clear supporting commentary • Systems Knowledge (preferred) • • Experience with BlackLine or similar reconciliation and close-management tools • Industry Experience (preferred) • • Experience in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)
Roles and Responsibilities: • • In this role, you need to analyze and solve moderately complex problems • • You are required to create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures • • You are required to understand the strategic direction set by senior management, clearly communicate team goals, deliverables, and keep the team updated on change • • Your primary upward interactions are with your direct supervisor • • Update close tasks, track completion, highlight risks and communicate issues that may affect the close timetable. • • Prepare accurate reconciliations with appropriate support, aging, explanations and action plans for open items. • • Investigate interface and reconciliation exceptions, post approved corrections and follow up with stakeholders to clear aged items. • • Maintain complete close and reconciliation evidence, support audits and contribute to close-cycle improvement • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shiftsAny Graduation
