Exciting opportunity for an experienced industrial sales professional to join our client in their Johor, Malaysia office as a Senior Sales Engineer
Responsibilities
- Daily tasks include managing sales activities, developing sales strategies, building client relationships, conducting market research, and collaborating with the sales team to meet targets.
- Developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets by conducting market research and analyze sales data.
- Responsible for sales of company product and services to existing and new customer
- Responsible for negotiating contracts, following up and preparing quotation in response to client's requirement and close sales deals.
- Conducting Market Research and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Developing a deep understand of the products or services offered by the company, as well as the competitive landscape.
- Manage sales pipelines with timely follow-ups on leads and opportunities to drive business growth.
- Travel to customer sites for technical support, product inspections, and relationship management as required.
- Collaborate with sales and other departments to align performance goals and drive competitive success.
- Oversee local operations, including rental utilities and general site management, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management deem necessary as and when required.
Requirements
- Strong sales background with experience in industrial equipment/solutions
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and strong negotiation skills and experience in closing complex sales deals.
- Ability to work autonomously in the Johor region, handling operations, sales, and client relationships.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to communicate complicated technical issue with effective presentation skills.
- Must be highly motivated, proactive, and have excellent organizational skills.
- Able to meet deadlines along with working under pressure.
- Possess own transport with valid license & must be willing to travel.
