This position is placed at our office in Stockholm where we apply a hybrid work model with the opportunity to work from home. You will be reporting directly to CFO.
## Tasks
As our Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in our Finance function, including:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations for our three countries
- Accounts payable and receivable
- VAT, employer taxes, and other declarations
- Monthly closing and support with annual accounts
- Managing expense reports, receipts, and reimbursements
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Improving and automating financial processes and systems
- Taking on ad hoc tasks that come with working in a fast-paced startup
## Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- 8+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a dynamic or startup environment
- Solid understanding of Swedish accounting standards and tax regulations
- Comfortable working with accounting software
- Structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented
- Eager to improve processes and take ownership
- Fluent in both Swedish and English
