Description
Under general supervision, the Senior Accountant will perform a variety of routine duties in the Accounting Department which includes, but is not limited to daily and monthly reconciliation, analysis and certification of various General Ledger accounts, research of outstanding items and inputting journal entries.
What you will do:
Reconcile, analyze and certify various General Ledger accounts within daily and monthly deadlines.
Prepare journal entries with proper documentation.
Identify, research, investigate, and problem-solve GL account and/or internal control issues.
Support the accounting team in meeting month end closing deadlines and deliverables.
Support the accounting team in preparing quarterly and annual deliverables.
Assist in providing detailed support to Accounting Management on financial reports, schedules and regulatory reporting.
Assist management on audit request and responses to inquiries from internal and external auditors.
Responsible for performing special projects as assigned by management.
Who you are:
4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
4+ years of GL experience in accounting and/or banking environment.
Required 5 years Related Experience.
Oracle and Hyperion knowledge desired.
Excel proficiency is required.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
A high level of independent judgment, initiative and problem solving skills, and the ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and discretion are required.
Attentive to detail, good analytical skills and team oriented.
Excellent communication skills.
Maintain a courteous, helpful and professional attitude on the job. Display a willingness and ability to partner and collaborate with other groups.

Pay Range: $71,000 - $95,000 annually
AIP Bonus up to 7.5%
