Job Summary
Central Plains Steel, a division of Feralloy, is seeking a hands-on Production Team Lead to support coil line operations. This is a working leadership role responsible for guiding the team, maintaining workflow, and ensuring production, safety, and quality standards are met.

- Lead daily production operations and coordinate workflow to meet demand
- Monitor line performance and drive process improvements
- Ensure safety standards and company policies are consistently followed
- Train, coach, and support team members
- Oversee work orders, production schedules, and documentation accuracy
- Perform quality checks and ensure materials meet specifications
- Troubleshoot operational or equipment issues and partner with maintenance as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment (5S)
Required Skills
- Valid driver’s license
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or material handling
- Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varying temperatures
- Basic math, measurement, and computer skills
- Strong communication and ability to lead a team effectively
Preferred:
- Warehouse or metals industry experience
- High School Diploma or GED
