Job Description
As a Security Officer Secure Entrance in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location where you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. - Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns promptly.
- Support staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general assistance while maintaining awareness of access control requirements and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
