We are seeking a Program Manager that will lead business transformation and analytical support services for a government client implementing mission-critical policies. The role aligns with a seasoned professional capable of leading multidisciplinary teams and client initiatives to successful outcomes in a high-visibility environment. The Program Manager serves as a critical bridge between government senior leadership, stakeholders, and the consulting/contractor team. The Program Manager will ensure seamless delivery of policy guidance, implementation support, strategic planning communications support and data analytics work products.
This role is suited for a leader who can operate comfortably in front of government executives, direct a team of subject-matter experts, and translate ambiguous or evolving mission priorities into structured, executable plans.
What Your Day Might Include…
Team Leadership & Client Management
- Lead and manage teams of subject matter experts supporting mission-critical and time-sensitive policy implementation.
- Serve as the primary POC between government senior leadership, clients, stakeholders, and the contractor/consulting team to align priorities, expectations, and deliverables.
- Manage overall project scope, schedule, budget, and quality across all workstreams.
Policy Strategy and Implementation Support
- Provide senior-level support on the development of policy guidance, implementation frameworks, and reporting/tracking of key initiatives.
- Lead the team’s efforts to translate policy directives into actionable, phased implementation plans.
- Identify any risks and dependencies and work collaboratively with clients to drive resolution.
Communications Support
- Lead the development of executive-level communication products such as briefings, status updates, and presentations, in support of policy rollouts.
- Ensure messaging and content are clear, consistent, and customized for the appropriate audience.
Digital and Data Analytics Tools
- Develop and Deploy analytics tools such as dashboards, data models, and KPIs to communicate statistics, convey trends, and align leadership priorities.
- Translate complex analytics findings into clear actionable recommendations, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Program Management
- Builds upon and maintains Amivero’s culture by embracing its strategic framework and values, serving as a strong role model to the team and others, pushing our programs and practices, and helping them evolve.
- Accountable for achieving organic growth, performance (innovation, CPARS, delivery compliance, staffing, etc.) and financial objectives (including P&L, Revenue, Direct labor or other metrics)
- Mobilizes team members within program and guides customers and partners toward the delivery of high-quality work.
- Coaches and mentors Amivero talent and works collaboratively within the organization.
- Able to form strong internal partnership and collaborates within the organization to achieve Account success and actively contribute to thought leadership across the organization.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship Required to obtain Public Trust, active DHS CBP Public Trust preferred
- BA in public policy, public administration, business administration, or related field.
- 5 or more years of demonstrated experience leading government programs with responsibility for financial, delivery, and corporate objectives.
- Program/project management experience, including significant experience supporting federal government contracts at a senior advisory level
- Demonstrated executive presence and experience advising and briefing senior government officials
- Strong track record managing multidisciplinary teams across policy, strategy, communications, and data analytics disciplines
- Demonstrated success leading teams and managing client projects to successful outcomes in a government consulting environment
- Proven experience serving as a liaison/bridge between senior government leadership and consulting or contractor teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing executive-level materials
- Excellent management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to exercise strategic, analytical, and creative thinking in complex situations to support decision-making.
- Expert attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
- Encourage and build team spirit among staff, bringing about mutual respect and cooperation
- Prior experience with CBP preferred
- PMP certification (or equivalent) required or strongly preferred
